Leviathans are bio-mechanical ships that can only be controlled by a crablike race of Pilots. Leviathans are not combat ships but are perfectly suited for the transport of any race. They have their own desires and while they wish to serve their crew both her and her pilot will go against the crew if need be. The Pilots nerves are directly linked to Moya over a period of three months and only they can communicate with it and view it's vital signs. Each Leviathan has a troop of small motorized robots that work like antibodies and stun or kill intruders or make small repairs to the ship. Leviathans are also capable of giving birth to other Leviathans. It's main transport value is it's ability to Starburst, a variation of Mass Effect or Lightspeed.
