The Story
For thousands of years the galaxy was divided until contact was first made by multiple races The Council at first was thought to have complete jurisdiction over the Galactic Community. But more and more species entered The Council saw that they needed a proper united government thus The Republic was born. Based in Coruscant The Republic slowly grew into a force capable of patrolling the entire Galaxy. With an army of Clone Troopers and The Jedi Order at their back, The Republic was an almost unstoppable force until The Confederacy rose up and The Sith reemerged. As the war went on bounty hunters started coming into the mix working for whoever could pay the credits. Strangely more and more Sith are appearing and mysterious new dark lord has appeared, leading a whole new flock of Sith apprentices. The Confederacy is in full swing after the invasion of Geonosis and are pumping out droids to battle the growing Clone armies. The Republic then ordered for The Spartan program to begin again under the guide of many scientific minds, at the lead (again) was Doctor Halsey. Of many Spartans created, only one stood out a hero.
Changes
Because of the mixed universes we have made a few change and they will be spelled out below.
We have mixed the Council from Mass Effect and put it together with the Republic being that more and more alien races having appeared. The Clone Troopers are the main force of the Republic while the Alliance is made up of other species all working together to keep peace. The Specters are an elite group of Clone Commandos or other form of military that are mostly under their own jurisdiction.
Instead of the Rachni the Xenos were able to overrun a Salarian research vessel under the command of Salarian scientist Wei'land Yutanai and spread throughout the system in a desperate attempt to stop them the Salarians turned to the Krogan and the Yautja races for support. While the Yautja's expertise in hunting Xenomorphs came in handy it was the Krogan that turned the tide of the war driving back the Xenomorphs. What followed is pretty much unchanged.
The systems may seem small now but as more races join more planets will be added just starting out small.
Cerberus is a splinter cell of the Republic having broken away because of their pro human beliefs coming before galactic peace. They are known to work as private armies for criminals and sell off droids to The Confederacy. They are lead by the mysterious Illusive Man.
The Smuggling Trade
Smuggling is a huge profiting crime empire run by multiple crime families throughout the galaxy, while the Hutts hold a majority of it they know not to try and move into other crime lord territories. Yet not all smuggling is done by organized crime families but by small crews of freelance salvage pickers and spice smugglers.
